Guess who just dropped another gorgeous collection?
OLENS Global is back at it again with another release! I wasn’t expecting to receive this collection in the mail, but I was still excited to try these on nonetheless. I’ve previously reviewed the Scandi line from the same brand, which you can check out here! The Scandi collection review was actually my first time trying out contact lenses ever, so you can get a feel for how these lenses work for even a novice. That post also goes into detail regarding the brand’s history, successes, and safety measures as well, which may help you make an informed decision regarding the legitimacy of these products. Learning about OLENS as a company and its safety measures helped me decide as a person with underlying eye health issues that this brand is reputable and safe, so hopefully it will help you make your own decision as well.
Just as a disclaimer, I received these products for free to review, but I am under no obligation to write this review. I have not been financially compensated in any way other than receiving free product. As always, all opinions are my own and are 100% truthful.
Before jumping into the lenses themselves, let’s take a quick look at the packaging! I can only vouch for the Scandi and French Gold 3Con lines, but from what I’ve seen so far, OLENS is killing it with the packaging design. I love how this collection’s packaging is quite simple yet elegant with the cursive script and the metallic accents.
The packaging also provides important quality check information such as manufacture and expiration dates. I appreciate that the manufacture dates are also listed. The packaging also shows the lens prescription. Mine is set to zero, but the brand offers a wide variety of prescription strengths for those who may want that option (0.00 to 8.00 for this collection). Also listed on the box are the material, color, size, contents, recommended wear time, and extra benefits. There is also a visual of the lens by the bottom left corner. The French Gold 3Con lenses come in a box of ten one-day lenses (five pairs). They are made from Puscon material, which is good for sensitive and dry eyes (you can read more about Puscon here). This lens also provides UV-ray blocking benefits. The graphic diameter is 13.1 mm with a base curve of 8.7mm for a total diameter of 14.2mm.
The collection name, color, manufacture and expiration dates, size, and prescription strength are also listed on each individual lens packaging, making it easy to know which lens you’re using straight away.

The French Gold 3Con collection comes with three color choices: gray, olive, and hazel. I find these to have a better resemblance of an actual iris than the Scandi line. Both collections are beautiful, but while the Scandi lenses are quite chic and bold, the French Gold 3Con look more natural. I believe this has to do with the striated design inside of the darker ring. I think the colors transition quite well together and look very beautiful.
I found all three lenses to look quite natural on me, even the gray color. By natural, I mean they really elevated my look without looking too bold. These lenses brightened up my eyes to make them look more lively and charismatic. You can see in the comparison photos below that they add just a touch of light but still make quite a difference. Surprisingly, even the gray color looked quite natural on me. The gray wasn’t too icy or harsh, but rather, it provided just enough of a contrast to bring some light and definition to my eyes.

The olive shade also brought contrast and light to my eyes. I found this one to be a good in-between color between the gray and hazel because it’s not too cool, not too warm. It provided a nice glassy effect to the eyes.

I was actually quite surprised by how natural the hazel color from the French Gold 3Con collection looked on me because I remembered the hazel color from the Scandi collection looked quite bold on my eyes. The hazel shade in this line adds just a touch of light honey brown golden goodness to the eyes that creates a really romantic vibe.

OLENS says this lens provides a “romantic creamy vibe” and is “the secret of my everyday romantic vibe,” and I would have to agree. While the Scandi collection gives off a more chic and bold energy that is also stunning in its own right, the French Gold 3Con collection gives another meaning to the saying “eyes are the window to the soul.” I really love the glassy effect and brightness these bring while still looking quite natural due to the iris-like, striated design.
