The key ingredients of this mask include milk extract, coconut extract, and Tremella fuciformis extract. According to the Missha US website (Missha is under the same parent company as A’Pieu), milk extract hydrates skin for lasting softness and comfort. High fiber and vitamin B found in coconut extract deliver moisture deep into the skin. Tremella fuciformis, often called “snow fungus,” is a mushroom that moisturizes and softens skin for a plumper appearance. A’Pieu calls this “a glass of coconut milk for the skin!”
After trying out the A’Pieu Green Tea Milk Soothing Sheet Mask, I knew better than to expect that this product would smell like coconut. Upon opening (for which I again had to use scissors), I was greeted with the scent of oranges mixed with something else I can’t put my finger on. I personally like this scent better than the fruity floral scent of the green tea version as its not as overbearing. The scent does linger on the face but goes away after removing the sheet and patting in the remaining essence. The mask feels lightly cooling and softens the skin nicely. The essence soaks right in and feels comfortable. It adds a nice glow to the skin by providing both light hydration and moisture without feeling heavy or greasy. This is a mask I would be happy to use before applying makeup.
I’ve actually been super impressed with the A’Pieu milk sheet mask line that I’m hoping to stock up and buy the rest of the line the next time I’m in Korea. Looks like there is a pure milk sheet mask, a strawberry milk, chocolate milk, coffee milk, and banana milk. If these masks are anything like the two I’ve tried, I know I’ll love them!
