I haven’t tested too many Yadah products, but so far, I’ve loved everything I’ve tried.
This dermatologist-tested facial mask is said to be great for controlling excess sebum and relieving troubled spots. I currently don’t have any acne spots to test the second claim, but I do have very oily skin to test sebum control.
The edges around the nose and upper lip started showing signs of dryness at around the 10 minute mark, so I suggest checking in every so often to make sure the sheet isn’t drying out earlier than expected. This is important because a dry sheet mask can actually dehydrate your skin (read why you should never leave your sheet mask on for too long + how to properly incorporate them into your skincare routine). The instructions recommend leaving this sheet mask on between 20-30 minutes. I removed it after 20 minutes because the sheet was getting dry.
This acne and sebum control sheet mask has small, brown flecks sprinkled throughout. The essence has a strong tea tree scent and comes in a watery, slightly jelly formula. It provides a gentle cooling sensation. After removing the sheet and patting in the remaining essence, this product leaves skin feeling supple as it completely soaks in. There is a slight tackiness to the skin that takes a few minutes to go away. The finish makes it good for both morning and nighttime use. I also noticed that this helped tighten my pores. I recommend this product to those who like tea tree as a skincare ingredient. Tea tree is a popular ingredient for those with acne prone skin, so I can see why it is used in this mask. Tea tree can be a little drying, so I recommend hydrating really well before using this product or you may trigger an increase in sebum production, which is the opposite of this mask’s purpose (read hydrating vs. moisturizing). This mask paired with a good hydrating product would make a great combination.
