What Does $60 Get You at Jolse Cosmetics?

Hi friends! I am so excited to collaborate with Jolse Cosmetics, an online store that sells authentic Korean beauty products at discounted prices. What I love about Jolse other than the low prices are the low shipping rates (only $2.50!) and the generous number of samples and free gifts with purchase. I may or may not have used up my samples in this order before getting a chance to take a picture, but let’s proceed with the main haul, shall we?

For transparency purposes, Jolse offered me $60 in credit to purchase anything from the store to blog about. I was not given any additional financial compensation nor was I given a writing prompt. All products in this post were selected by me and are products I already had an interest in. All opinions are my own. I will also be sharing links to where you can shop these products, but the links are not affiliate links. I will not receive any compensation if you click these links; they are purely for your reference.

I will also be sharing my review of these items in subsequent blog posts or on Instagram. If you’d like, you may consider checking out my Instagram (@tsukibori) where I post more product photos and swatches. I sometimes share my thoughts on products here when I find that it doesn’t warrant an entire blog post.

The first product I have to share is the Etude (formerly known as Etude House) Play Color Eyes palette in Caffeine Holic. This is part of the brand’s 10-pan palette lineup. I was actually debating whether or not to order this palette because I really wanted it but I wasn’t sure if I could justify adding another palette to my collection. Well, the palette was on sale, so there’s my justification!

This next palette is one that I has been on my wishlist ever since it came out: the Etude Play Color Eyes palette in Leather Shop. This is another palette in the brand’s 10-pan lineup. It features a beautiful selection of warm yellow, orange, and brown shades perfect for late summer transitioning into fall. I absolutely love autumnal colors, so when I saw this on the Jolse website, I immediately added this to my cart.

The last palette in my order is also from Etude, but it is from the 9-pan palette lineup. It is the Etude Play Color Eyes palette in Sand Hill. I was also debating if I wanted to buy another palette or try something else, but in the end, my love for palettes won me over. While this palette may looks like a typical neutral palette upon first glance, it actually has some fun twists such as violet and blue glitter flecks in the center shade. This palette only has two matte shades, so while it’s a neutral palette, it’s definitely glam.

If you couldn’t tell already, I’ve been absolutely loving a lot of Etude’s releases lately. This next product is from one of the brand’s newer collections, the Muhly Romance line. This is the Better Lips-Talk Velvet in the shade BR408 Sunset Picnic. The beautiful rosy pink brown shade in this formula and finish gives off a very sophisticated look. I love the matte texture of the powder pink barrel paired with the reflective metal cap and the raised accents on the ends. The minimalist design is very modern and chic. I’m kicking myself for not getting the other shades too.

The last makeup item I selected is, surprisingly, a mascara. Personally, I tend to not wear mascara all that often because of the way my eyes are shaped along with my skin type. When I blink, my eyelids, especially near the outer corners, touch the skin just underneath my eyes. Paired with my oily skin, this is a recipe for racoon eyes. I typically just skip mascara altogether so I don’t have to worry about it (although I dream about having beautiful lashes) or I use Heroine Make Long & Curl Super Waterproof. I’ve been wanting to try a brown mascara lately though for a more natural look. I’ve heard good things about the Peripera Color Cara, so I added one to my cart. This particular shade is 02 Black Milk Tea Brown. So far, I’m really liking the staying power on this!

Last, but not least, I selected a skincare item. Chemical peels are a staple in my skincare routine, and they should be a staple in yours too! They are the perfect way to exfoliate your skin without causing microtears. I use chemical peels for my body as well but I especially love using them to get rid of the flaky buildup on my face. It gets rid of all the dead skin cells and provides a smooth, clean base for skincare products and makeup. I haven’t tried this particular one (The Face Shop Smart Peeling Mild Papaya) before, but I’m ecstatic that there is a pump. Some chemical peels come with a twist cap and squeeze bottle, and while it’s not the end of the world, it can get a bit messy if you need multiple squeezes. Having a pump will definitely make the process a lot easier.

$60 for three palettes, a lipstick, mascara, and skincare? An absolute steal in my book. At retail price, I probably could have only gotten two palettes for the same total, so Jolse definitely is a great place to shop if you’re a lover of all things K-beauty. Jolse really makes discovering Korean brands easy and shopping K-beauty internationally simple and affordable. They frequently have big sales and offer additional discounts and coupons. I’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences with all my orders in the past, and I highly recommend checking the website out if you’re interested!

If you have any questions based on my experience shopping at Jolse, I’d be happy to share with you! Feel free to reach out in the discussion section at the bottom of the page. Happy shopping!
