Ginseng: Korea’s most famous medicinal ingredient.
The ingredient in focus with this particular sheet mask is ginseng, which is probably Korea’s most famous medicinal ingredient. Ginseng is highly coveted as it prevents skin cell aging. It reduces wrinkling and increases the life span of skin cells due to its high antioxidant content.
As with all of the Face Shop’s Real Nature sheet masks, this product is made using a natural grinding extraction process as well as a natural adhesive mask formulated using tree extracts. This product is formulated without parabens, triethanolamine, propylene glycol, tar colorant, mineral oil.
As you can see from the photos above, the water-type essence is a milky brown color. A moderately strong, medicinal, ginseng scent permeates the air.
This sheet mask provides a very slight cooling sensation. The scent lingers throughout use and a little after removal as well. Upon using this mask, my skin looked firmer and brighter. My face appeared more radiant and had a youthful glow. My face looked fresh and awake. I was super pleased to find out that the essence completely absorbs into the skin after patting. As I’m sure you can tell from my glowing remarks, this mask gets a thumbs up from me!
