Stila Smudge Crayon Swatches

Hello, everybody! I’m in the process of dwindling down my makeup collection as I will be moving in the next few months. I thought I would share swatches of some of the products I will not be taking with me. One of these products is the Stila Cosmetics Smudge Crayon. I have five out of eight shades, so hopefully you find this post helpful if you are planning on purchasing these!

From left to right, we have black, midnight blue, pink violet, rose, and antique.

Smudge Crayons are retractable and come with a built-in sharpener.

The swatches above are in the same order as the first picture. From left to right, we have black, midnight blue, pink violet, rose, and antique.

Black is a simple matte black.
Midnight Blue is a matte navy.
Pink Violet is a rusty pink with purple reflects.
Rose is a shimmery champagne color.
Antique is a shimmery yellow gold.

These Smudge Crayons do require a few swipes for full opacity. Rose and Antique are the two shades with better opacity than the other three. I am considering keeping Midnight Blue as the color is quite pretty, but I don’t think I will take it with me as I don’t really use it ever. I find that these dry down well but will break down if it comes into contact with oil. As someone with oily lids, this poses a problem. Not looking forward to navy blue raccoon eyes. If you don’t have oily lids, this product may work better for you as it will stay on quite well.

Anyways, I hope this quick post helped you if you are looking to purchase any of these. I hope all of my readers have a lovely day! Thanks for reading, and until next time,
