The first of many Papa Recipe Bombee Fruitables sheet mask reviews coming your way!
There are seven total different sheet masks in the Papa Recipe Bombee Fruitables line. Unfortunately, I was only able to get my hands on six of them as I’m missing the green mask, but I figured I would go ahead and share my review anyways. I’m keeping my eyes out for the green mask still, but in the meantime, please enjoy the upcoming Bombee Fruitables reviews, starting with the Red Squeeze Intensive Mask!
“Papa Recipe Bombee Fruitables Red Squeeze Intensive Mask contains red squeeze complex made of five extracts, including tomato, apple, pomegranate, mangosteen, and redcurrant to relieve stress and enhance skin conditions… Red squeeze complex helps relieve skin stress and improve skin condition, creating [moisturized] and healthier skin.” Tomato extract vitalizes and helps with anti-aging, apple extract provides peeling care and helps improve skin tone, pomegranate extract firms and vitalizes skin, mangosteen extract hydrates and vitalizes skin, and redcurrant extract hydrates and also provides peeling care. To learn more about the technology behind the essence and sheet, read my post on the orange squeeze mask, which I will be posting in two days.
The essence used in this sheet mask smells very familiar but I can’t quite put my finger on it. I’m thinking maybe an apple or pear candle maybe? Possibly the Suave Kids Double Dutch Apple Detangling Spray? I can’t fully tell if that’s what it smells like, but those come to mind. The scent is of moderate strength and isn’t really detectable on the face. The slightly viscous, watery essence builds to a gentle cooling sensation. The essence is delivered using a super thin sheet that results in minimal overlap. The sheet pretty much lays down flat and is comfortable to wear.
After removing the sheet and patting, the remaining essence quickly absorbs into the skin. The result is soft and supple skin with no stickiness or oiliness. It leaves behind a matte finish. I am super impressed by how fast the essence soaked in. Rather than strongly target a specific skin issue, I feel like this mask works to reset the skin as a whole and create a good base for the rest of the skincare. I think this is a great booster to any skincare routine as it leaves the face feeling gently refreshed.
