Ofra Mystery Box Unboxing

Hi, friends! So about a month ago, my friend sent me a text saying Ofra was having a sale on its mystery boxes and that she had a free shipping promo code. I’ve never tried any Ofra products but had heard a lot of great things about the brand’s highlighters, so with the box being only $15, I thought I’d give it a go.

Makeup wipes, $7

The first thing I got in the box was a pack of makeup lip wipes. The scent of these reminds me of my time in France for some reason. I can’t pick up exactly what it is, but I’m pretty sure the memory is from France. To be completely honest with you, I don’t think these wipes are good at all. They don’t seem to remove makeup very well.

Eyeshadow Godet pan refill in Gold Rush, $12

The next product I got was a small eyeshadow single. You can’t really go wrong with a staple gold shadow.

Blended liquid lip ($20), full liquid lip, gloss ($13)

I also received a liquid lipstick in the shade “Charmed” and a lip gloss tube in my box. While I’m not all that excited about the lip gloss tube, I was quite lucky to receive a liquid lipstick in a color I might actually wear.

Retrograde highlighter (Star Island and Neptune), $29

Okay, so here comes the exciting part. I got a highlighter in the shade “Retrograde.” I bought the box hoping for a highlighter, and I actually got one! I was hoping to try one of the famous NikkiTutorials shades, but this one is just as exciting! I like how it’s a two-color pan because I can use the colors individually or mix them together. It’s almost like I got three highlighters!

Ofra x Madison Miller blush in Sweet Stuff, $29

Last but not least, I got an Ofra x Madison Miller blush compact in the shade “Sweet Stuff.” I’m quite happy with this one too because it is also a shade I would wear.

That’s all I got in the Ofra Mystery Box! For only $15, I’m really happy with what I got. I’m super happy about receiving the blush, highlighter, and liquid lipstick. I’m satisfied with the eyeshadow, and if only the quality of the lip makeup remover wipes were better, I’d be pretty satisfied with receiving a pack of remover wipes. The only thing I’m not all that excited about is the gloss. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice quality gloss, but I’m just not really into the tube packaging and application. Overall though, I’m really impressed with my first non-subscription, mystery box! The total retail price of all these items is $110. Even with just the lipstick, blush, and highlighter, it would have cost me $78 for those three items. Would I have bought those products if it weren’t for the mystery box? Probably not, but for $15, I’m really happy about my purchase.

Thanks for hanging out with me today! I usually pass on mystery boxes because I’m scared I’ll receive bad picks that no one really wants and end up wasting money, but I had a fun experience with this one! I don’t think I’ll be purchasing another Ofra mystery box soon, but I’m definitely open to trying more out from other brands in the future!

Have a great day today!
