Meeting Cute Jellies at the Monterey Bay Aquarium

Hi, friends! Today, I went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium with my mom. We didn’t go through all the exhibits because my mom needed to run some errands, but we did meet some cute jellies and penguins!

We spent the first hour or so at the cafeteria sharing carrot cake and drinking warm beverages. There were two albatrosses sleeping by the window ledge overlooking the ocean. I wish I could have taken a nice picture, but there were some water droplet marks on the window.

We went towards the open sea exhibit, which is easily one of my favorites.

The shrimp inside the jellyfish are arranged in the shape of a flower, which I think is pretty neat!

I didn’t get to see a sunfish, otherwise known as a mola mola, but maybe I’ll get to see one next time I go! My mom and I bought membership cards that will last us until May 2020, so we decided to head out early today to finish up errands since we can always come back. It’s only about an hour drive from where we live. We are looking forward to our next visit!

I was hoping to share a lot of photos today, but I was only able to take a few since we left early. I still hope you all like the few I took regardless! Thanks so much for taking the time to read this little blog post, and I’ll catch up with you all again in tomorrow’s post!

Until tomorrow,
