Mediheal, how could you do me like this?
This mask is described as containing the benefits of a bottle of ampoule. If you’re unfamiliar with the term “ampoule,” it is essentially a supercharged serum. This mask claims to treat pores and wrinkles as well as help brighten the face. It also claims to provide bright and silky skin by caring for pores and removing dead skin using gluconolactone and bifida ferment filtrate. This mask utilizes what Mediheal has coined its “Clear Fit” technology to tighten and lift the face.
The instructions on this mask are quite interesting as it specifically states to apply the sheet in a way that lifts the cheeks. To do this, apply the sheet and hold down the chin area while stretching the sides of the sheet up towards each respective cheek. Doing this gives a slight tightening feel along the jawline, but the sheet is still very comfortable to wear. In fact, it almost feels like it’s not even there.
This mask provides a relaxing cooling effect and smells fruity. It would make a lovely candle scent.
While this mask feels gentle during application, I cannot say the same for the end result. This sheet mask left my entire face extremely rough and bumpy, especially all around my mouth and chin area as well as between the eyes. They weren’t painful breakout bumps, but more like small milia bumps everywhere. I felt like I was touching a reptile. Absolutely horrible.
Just when I finally had my skin texture right where I wanted it.
Mediheal, I thought we were friends. How could you do me like this?
