Hello, my lovely friends! How did you enjoy your weekend? If you celebrate Labor Day, you may have taken advantage of some good sales. I definitely did. Ulta gave me a $15 off $50 coupon to use that I paired with discounted products and the free shipping on orders over $35 promotion. I bought a ridiculous number of four eyeshadow palettes but at a total price of $43.59, so was it really ridiculous? The answer is still yes, but let’s not think about that too much. Instead, let’s get into the unboxing and share what I got!
As I shared in my Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions Palette Review + Swatches post, I picked up another Colourpop palette. The reason I bought this off of Ulta’s website and not with my last Colourpop order is because this palette actually sold out on the Colourpop website before I checked out. It was also cheaper on the Ulta website for some reason, so it all worked out in the end.
The next eyeshadow palette I got is the Nubian II palette from Juvia’s Place. I swatched this at my local Ulta store a long time ago, and I could not get the dark green shade Egypt out of my head. I let it go during the last two sales Ulta had on this palette, but it kept staying in my mind, so I bit the bullet and went for it.
The last two palettes I purchased were honestly just impulse buys (let’s be real here – all four of these were impulse buys) that I made because I’ve been obsessed with colorful eyeshadows lately. I honestly didn’t need any of these and doubt I will use them a lot, but here we are again. I present to you my unnecessary purchase of the Zulu and Afrique palettes from Juvia’s Place.
I really need to calm down with all these eyeshadows I’ve been buying lately. I really don’t need them, but as fellow makeup lovers, I’m sure you all understand the struggle. Darn you Ulta for your good deals (but really, thank you and I love you. Please give us more good deals)!!!
