I try to avoid lavender as a skincare ingredient but doing it for the blog.
This sheet mask claims to instantly soothe and balance the skin through lotus and lavender oil. Lavender oil is said to be an anti-inflammatory ingredient, but I’ve also heard that lavender is actually a skin allergen, so I’m not sure if lavender is actually good for the skin. For that reason, I try to avoid lavender skincare products just as a precaution, but I’ll make an exception just this once. Doing it for the blog.
The sheet doesn’t look like it’s made of 100% cotton; it almost looks kind of like paper. Despite how it looks, it’s not stiff, which is a plus. Do be careful taking the sheet out the package though. The serum is very runny and drips a lot. It has a moderate strength scent of lavender mixed with another plant-based scent. The scent does linger during application.
This mask offers a slight cooling sensation, and the serum does an excellent job of sinking into the skin. I’m not sure about its claims on relaxing and unwinding in regards to the skin, but it seems to be working in the aromatherapy department. As far as skincare, this mask is quite nice; however, I feel like the experience is where it shines best. The aromatherapy it offers really helps clear and relax the mind.
