Freeman Beauty Infusion Hydrating Cream Mask Review

The last Freeman Beauty Infusion manuka honey and collagen product was a bit of a flop for me, but I’m hoping this one will be better!

This mask is a wash-off mask. I’m glad I read the instructions on the back because I thought this was going to be a leave-on cream mask. Instructions say to leave on for 10-15 minutes and rinse with warm water.

To me, this mask felt like slathering a bunch of lotion all over the face and then rinsing it off. While I have tried wash-off masks before, I don’t recall ever having tried a cream version, so the consistency as a wash-off mask felt a little foreign to me. It has a scent reminiscent of a crisp apple candle. I prefer this scent much more over the sheet mask version from the same line (which you can read about here). I would avoid using this mask if you have any cuts or otherwise irritated skin. It felt a little prickly on some of the slightly raw areas of my face.

Since this product is a cream formula, it has quite a bit of slip when trying to rinse off. Also, be careful about getting this product in your hairline as you rinse. I think a cleansing sponge would help remove the product faster and more precisely.

This product made my skin a little softer than it was before, but I don’t think it did much more than that. My skin didn’t feel dry, but it also didn’t feel plumped up with hydration. I’m sad to announce that results were mediocre. I think for all the trouble of applying a thick layer of cream all over the face, waiting 10-15 minutes, and washing it off, I could get a similar skin softening result just by applying lotion. I would save your money on this one, my friends.
