First off, I just want to mention how shocked I was when I saw the generous amount of free samples and gifts included with my order. I only ordered four things at a total of just over $65, and I received a sheet mask, a pack of Jolse blotting papers (which, I have to say, is an excellent marketing idea), two nose pore strips, a body scrubber mitt, and seven more little sample packets. Honestly, I’m just blown away because most online stores would just throw in one or two sample packets. Sephora out here reducing samples from three to two choices, while Jolse out here just being an absolute legend.
I mainly placed this order for the Tosowoong Down Perm Super Intense. My hair roots grow upward and out, which make my baby hairs look very frazzled and messy. I’m hoping this will also help mold the direction of my baby hair root growth to better frame my face. Unfortunately, my thick brow hairs also grow outward, so I’m curious to see if I can use this product to flatten them down a little bit.
I also bought the A’Pieu Frizzy Hair Cara because of my messy baby hairs. There is a stick formula as well, but after taking a look at the differences between the two, I decided to go with the tube formulation. The packaging also makes this seem great for sticking into a purse for a quick hair fix.
I also bought a Nature Republic double eyelid glue kit because my eyelids like to play games with me. Both my eyelids were monolids for most of my life, but in recent years, I’ve been developing double eyelids. The weird part is when I do get a double eyelid, it typically only happens to one eye and the other stays a monolid. Sometimes, they’ll switch sides, which makes it even weirder. Occasionally, they’ll both go back to being monolids or both become double eyelids. I bought this glue kit to help even my eyes out since it seems like my eyelids have a mind of their own.
Last but not least, I bought this face shaping device. I feel like I have very large cheekbones that kind of stick out on the sides, and I was curious to see if this would help soften them.
Anyways, that’s all for this Jolse haul! I have another Jolse order being shipped to me (I couldn’t help it! Etude Bake House was on sale for $9!), so I’ll be back with another haul post hopefully soon! Looking forward to seeing what free samples and gifts they offer in my next order!
