Etude House 0.2mm Therapy Air Mask Collagen Review

Hello, everyone! Happy Face Mask Friday! Today’s face mask is from Etude House’s 0.2mm Therapy Air Mask Line. This time, we will be reviewing the collagen version which utilizes an emulsion type essence. This mask claims to be a “daily low-irritant mask made of breathable 0.2mm air sheet [that] effectively delivers 7-free essence to your skin” and that it contains “abundant collagen and adenosine with wrinkle improvement function [that] moisturizes and firms up skin.”

Maybe because this mask utilizes an emulsion type essence, it felt thicker than last week’s face mask even though both are from the Etude House 0.2mm Therapy Air Mask line. I’d also say this mask wasn’t immediately cooling, but it gradually got there after a few minutes. It was a nice, refreshing touch that I enjoyed.

As mentioned above, this mask utilizes an emulsion type essence. Typically, I don’t prefer emulsion type sheet masks because they tend to be more oil-based than water-based. I prefer a water-based sheet mask because I feel that the product is actually absorbed into my skin and hydrating it rather than just sitting on top of my skin. However, I found that this mask absorbed very quickly and left no oily trace. That alone is a win in my book.

Post-mask before patting in the remaining essence

After using this mask, my face also felt a bit more supple compared to before, which makes sense as this is a collagen mask. This definitely wasn’t the most plumping of masks in my opinion, but it did feel nice. Also, I applied some remaining essence to my lips, and tell me if I’m wrong, but don’t my lips looks really plumped up in the after picture compared to the before picture? Can my lips stay that way forever?

All in all, I feel like this mask gave my skin a bit of suppleness and radiance. Plus, I think it would work well incorporated into a skincare routine since it absorbed into the skin very quickly. I always appreciate masks like this because it can be used before applying makeup or just as an additional moisturizing layer without problems. I was actually expecting to not like this mask, but I was pleasantly surprised by its fast absorbing properties and the great end result. I think this mask is perfect for a fresh-faced glow.

I hope you enjoyed this week’s Face Mask Friday post. Thanks for reading!
