Elizavecca Kangsi 24K Gold Mask Review

Hello there! In celebration of the new season, I’ve decided to start a new series here on my blog: Face Mask Fridays! This series is inspired by my friend Alyssa, who in fact coined the name of it. For Face Mask Fridays, I’ll be trying out a new face mask every Friday and sharing with you what I think of it!

Today, I’ll be reviewing a product from Elizavecca’s Milky Piggy line. If you’ve heard of the carbonated bubbling clay mask that went trending some months ago, this is from the same line! I’m super excited to share this product with you because not only does this mask show results, it shows immediate results. This mask contains 24K gold powder extracts, green herb extracts and berry extracts to achieve bright and radiant skin. It also contains hydrolyzed collagen to keep skin moisture levels balanced.

The consistency of this product is very thick and gel-like. You can definitely see the gold flecks in the product and there is plenty of it as well. The interesting thing about this mask is that it dries to a white powder finish so you know when it rinse it off. To apply, take an adequate amount of product on the fingertips and cover the entire face, making sure to avoid getting product into the eyes. In a couple minutes, you’ll notice that the edges will start to turn white. Wait approximately 20 minutes or until the entire mask turns white. The mask will turn white on the outside first so wait a couple more minutes after the outside turns completely white to ensure that the bottom layers are fully dried as well. After the mask has completely transformed into the white powdery substance, rinse it off with water. You’ll notice the mask returning to its original gel consistency as it contacts the water. Rinse off completely and pat dry.

As I mentioned earlier, this gives immediate visible results. After applying a small amount on the back of my hand, the area of the skin on which I applied it is visibly brighter and radiant versus the surrounding area.

If you have time in the morning for a mask, I’d definitely recommend this as it makes your skin feel smoother and look brilliant!

Let me know what you think of it in the comments section below! Thanks for tuning in to the first Face Mask Friday series!
