Dr. Jart+ Water Replenishment Cotton Sheet Mask Review

Is it worth the premium price tag?

It’s no secret that Dr. Jart+ has long been a big player in the Korean beauty industry. Although the brand’s products can be a bit expensive, many people continue to purchase them because of the results they provide. I’m curious to know if this Water Replenishment Cotton Sheet Mask also lives up to the Dr. Jart+ reputation.

The Dr. Jart+ Water Replenishment Cotton Sheet Mask states that it is good for treating redness and dryness. It utilizes marine collagen to hydrate, chamomile flower water to purify and calm, and cactus flower extract to prevent moisture loss. Dr. Jart+ says to use this cotton mask containing eucalyptus fiber anytime to replenish the skin’s moisture barrier.

The eucalyptus fiber sheet has a bit of a striated pattern and is a little stiff. The stiffness of the sheet causes some overlapping along the outside and makes the sheet not adhere as well in some spots. The essence has a very watery gel consistency, smells of baby lotion, and does not offer any cooling or warming sensation. In the regard, it was very gentle on the face.

This mask did calm down some of the redness on the face as it claims. It also provided a light moisturization without leaving a heavy oily finish. There was a very light layer of emulsified oil initially after patting in the remaining essence, but it soaked in within 1-2 minutes, leaving skin feeling very lightly moisturized. It provides a nice glow and sheen to the face.

Overall, I don’t have anything particularly negative to say about this product other than I would have preferred a thinner and more flexible sheet to help the mask adhere better. The entire process was very gentle, and the end result was nice, albeit very subtle. The important thing to remember is that this mask is super light and the results reflect that. Just something to keep in mind, especially when the product comes with a premium price tag in accordance to the Dr. Jart+ brand.
