My friend gave me this mask to try out as she was doing a bit of uncluttering. I probably wouldn’t have bought this mask myself, so it’s nice that she offered this to me since I now have the opportunity to test and review something I most likely wouldn’t have otherwise.
I tried to research this product and brand online as I have never heard of either before, but I couldn’t find much. I wasn’t able to find a brand website, so I had to rely solely on the back of the package for any information regarding this product. The packaging states that this product “hydrates and tones the complexion to help restore radiance and suppleness. [It uses a] cooling formula infused with pure rosewater to help tone and soothe the skin.”
Based on the precautions listed on the back, it seems like this mask isn’t for everyone. For those with sensitive skin, acne, or other similar skin issues, this mask seems to be a definite no.
You can most definitely smell the rose water in this sheet mask. The scent lasts until removal, so just a heads up for those who dislike rose scents. I used to dislike rose scents, but I don’t mind it as much as I used to nowadays. This mask is very cooling even without refrigeration. It started to feel a little prickly in the cheek area, so I can see why it says to avoid using on blemishes, pimples, irritated, or sunburned skin.
What’s interesting about this sheet mask is that it’s split into two pieces. One part covers the top face of the face, and the other covers the bottom half. I found the two sheets to be quite thick and slightly on the rougher side, making them a little uncomfortable to wear.
While this product was cooling, it was not hydrating and toning as it also claims to be. In fact, my skin felt tight and dehydrated after use. I didn’t experience the any soothing or restoration of radiance and suppleness with this product that it claims to offer. Unfortunately, this product just didn’t live up to its claims but made my skin feel rather dehydrated. A pass for me.
