Colourpop Baby Got Peach Palette Review + Swatches

Hi, friends! The last two posts were reviews and swatches of the Colourpop Uh-huh Honey and Orange You Glad palettes. This time, I’ll be reviewing the Baby Got Peach palette by the same company.

As mentioned with the other two palettes, the packaging feels very cheap, but at the price of $12, many complaints can’t be made. Another thing to note, however, is that there were visible scratches on the packaging when I opened it.

The colors in this palette seem a little more pink than peach, but they blend together to produce a nice peach effect.

All shades swatched on bare skin with the exception of the pressed glitter, which has glitter glue underneath.

If you’ve never tried Colourpop pressed eyeshadows, the best I can describe them as is that they seem like they melt into the skin. The pigment is really great, and I recommend you try some of them out! They often have sales and discount codes available as well, so make sure to take advantage of those.

As with the other palettes, this palette also contains one pressed glitter that’s not intended for the immediate eye area (use at your own discretion!). The color of the pressed glitter in this palette is absolutely stunning, and oh, how I wish there was a shimmer formula version of this. If there was a super shock shadow version, that would be even better! The pressed glitter seems great to use for fun events like festivals and such, but seems a bit too much for everyday use. I’d say this palette lacks a really bright inner corner highlight – at least, for my skin tone – since the glitter is not recommended for use there as it can cut your eye.

What are your thoughts on this palette? I think for $12, it’s a nice palette with quality shadows. I wouldn’t consider this a one-and-done palette since it does lack a bright highlight shade, but it’s great if you want a simple peachy-pink eyeshadow palette at budget price.

Thanks for reading, and until next time,
