Collective MAC Haul

Hello, everybody! I finally received all the products I ordered from MAC, so I thought I do a quick post sharing all of the products I purchased. I bought a lot of products during the MAC Select sale and placed another order for some lip products. We have quite a number of makeup products, so let’s get started!

I tried using a different camera to take these pictures, so you may notice a difference in the quality. I only just realized that I didn’t set the camera at the right setting when taking these pictures, so the quality isn’t all that great, but hopefully you still enjoy this blog post regardless!

This haul contains three Skinfinishes, seven lipsticks, one Patentpolish Lip Pencil, two Prep+Prime Natural Radiance samples, two Shadescents perfume spray samples, and a card accordion of both lipstick and matching perfume samples. Naturally, I had to take advantage of MAC’s sale for Select members which offers a 25% discount. If you’re not part of MAC’s Select program, I highly recommend you sign up. It’s free and offers you an extra free sample on online purchases. Plus, you get early access to new products, exclusive shades, a free anniversary gift (more on that later on in this post), and seasonal discount codes only for members. There are three tiers to the rewards program of which you can achieve by spending certain amounts of money. Of course, the higher the tier, the better the rewards.

Left to right: Warm Rose (MSF), Soft Frost (EDSF), Double-Gleam (EDSF)

I am obsessed with highlighters. I love swatching them and watching the glitters shift under certain angles. Warm Rose is a really soft, natural highlight. It has a light pink base with small glitter particles. Although the base is quite matte, it provides a brightening element due to the pink color. It also gives off a nice sheen for a soft finish. Really looking forward to using this during the winter for an ambient effect.

Soft Frost is a more shimmery highlighter that shifts violet. I swatched this in store as I wasn’t sure if I wanted to purchase it, but one swipe and it was so beautiful that I knew I had to have it. On a side note, the MAC employees at the store I swatched this in were super nice! I couldn’t find a tester of this on display, so I asked one of the ladies there if they had testers of the Extra Dimension Skinfinish. Unfortunately, she told me there weren’t any available at the time and that they sold out of all the shades, but then she remembered that there might be one in the back. She found one and brought it over to me. I wasn’t sure if it was a new product or a tester, so I asked another MAC employee if I could swatch it. She was super friendly as well and asked if I would like a brush to test it out with. So nice! Anyways, looking forward to using this during the winter as well!

Double-Gleam is described on MAC’s website as a “beige that breaks silver.” It looks like a whitish gold color leaning more neutral. Compared to Becca’s Moonstone, it’s whiter with more shimmer. Double-Gleam looks like it would be great for all seasons!

Left to right: Half ‘n Half, Brick-o-La, Twig, Velvet Teddy (x2), Kinda Sexy (x2)

Next, I ordered quite a large assortment of lipsticks. Five of these lipsticks are gifts for my aunts when I visit them in Korea this fall (if you don’t know already, I will be studying abroad in South Korea for a year at Yonsei University. If you’d like to stay updated on my adventures in Korea, please subscribe to my blog, YouTube channel, and other social media for future travel posts!). The Velvet Teddy shade in the middle is in a special packaging as it is part of MAC’s Shadescents collection. I’ll be keeping the special edition Velvet Teddy as well as one of the Kinda Sexy lipsticks and giving the rest away as gifts.

The next lip product that was part of my order is this MAC Patentpolish Lip Pencil in the shade Kittenish. As mentioned above, if you sign up for MAC Select, you get access to a free anniversary gift every year since the day you sign up. These anniversary gifts are really amazing as they are full-sized products in your choice of shade. These Patentpolish Lip Pencils are $21 each, so that’s an amazing free gift. In order to receive this free anniversary gift, I placed an order for one of the Kinda Sexy lipsticks mentioned above. I was thinking about getting another Kinda Sexy for myself, so it worked out! Thanks MAC for the awesome anniversary gift!

Last but not least, I got a bunch of free samples in this collective haul. As a MAC Select member, you can get not only one but two free samples upon checkout. Since I placed two orders, I chose a total of four samples. MAC also included free cards of all their Shadescents perfume and matching lipsticks. I also chose two small spray samples of Crème d’Nude and Velvet Teddy. I’ve been meaning to try the Prep+Prime Natural Radiance products for a while now, so it’s awesome that I get to try them for free. I got one in the Radiant Pink shade and other in Radiant Yellow. I did a little hand swatch of both, and I think I’ll really like them!

Thank you so much for reading this collective MAC haul post! I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did writing it. Don’t forget to sign up for MAC Select if you haven’t already. If you’d like to stay updated on future blog posts, please subscribe for more!

I hope all of my readers have a wonderful week! Until next time,
