Changes for the New Year

Hello, my lovely friends! Happy New Year! It’s crazy how we’re already in 2020, the start of a new decade. Have you decided on your resolutions?

I wanted to share some changes to the blog I hope to implement in the new year with you all. For the past few years, my posts have had pretty much the same template and outro. I want to try something new and just write as I feel. I’ve been using the same structure for consistency, but I’m hoping that by getting rid of that, I’ll be able to better connect with you all.

Furthermore, I’m getting rid of Face Mask Fridays. I’ve been on and off with the series, and I would rather post whenever I have time to instead of missing a Friday and having to wait until next week to share.

To be honest, I wanted to change my blog domain since I’ve noticed that any time someone mentioned my blog or redirects to it, the spelling is always off due to the many letter ‘I’s in the name. It’s just something that’s always bothered me a bit. I was planning on changing it, but I realized I need to pay a yearly fee to do that, so for now, it will remain loriboriii.com. If anyone knows how to change my domain on WordPress without losing the content I’ve already posted and without incurring extra fees, please let me know! I’d really appreciate it!

On a brighter note, I recently created another Instagram page dedicated to makeup and other cosmetics! The username is @exclusivelybori if you want to check it out! My main account where I post stories and my travel photography is @loriboriii (spelled with one ‘I’ in the middle and three ‘I’s at the end), and my baking/cooking account is @breadandbori. I’m thinking of making my baking/cooking account into more of a foodstagram with pictures from when I eat out though since I haven’t really been making good, pretty food at home lately (I just cook something quick, nothing Instagram worthy). I don’t really eat out that much currently either, but I’m thinking of using that page to post food pics when I travel (praying for Japan 2020!)

Anyways, those are some of the updates and changes I will be implementing going forward! I wish you all a happy and healthy life in the new year! Let’s make 2020 the best one yet!

Lots of love,
