BoxyCharm Premium January 2020 Unboxing

Hello, friends! If you read my last post, you may remember that I recently got off the waitlist for BoxyCharm Premium! I am so excited to finally receive and share what I get in these monthly boxes. The past premium boxes (the ones I was unable to get because I was still on the waitlist at the time) included some really nice products I would have liked to get my hands on, so I’m really excited to share my first premium box with you all today!

BoxyCharm base box (top) vs premium box (bottom)

Before we dive into the box, I just wanted to show a comparison of the two box sizes in case you were curious. Now, to the box!

Ok, so as you can see, we’ve got a lot of goodies in this box.

Skinfix Resurface+ Glycolic Renewing Scrub, $40

The first one is this Skinfix Resurface+ Glycolic Renewing Scrub, which the brand says is a double duty body peel and polish. I haven’t tried it yet, but the packaging is pretty cute, so I look forward to it!

Too Faced Cosmetics Sugar Peach Face & Eye Palette, $44

The next item is a face palette from Too Faced. I’m not all that into the colors of this palette, so I will be passing this on to someone else, but I think it’s a really nice value if these are colors you like.

Farsali Liquid Glass Radiance Serum, $54

This next product is the one I am most excited about in this box: the Farsali Liquid Glass Radiance Serum. I’ve heard so much about Farsali products, and after trying this, I hope BoxyCharm continues to include Farsali in their future boxes!

Billion Dollar Brows bestsellers kit, $42

The fourth item in this box is actually a kit that includes four products: a brow pencil, a brush, a concealer and highlighter stick, and a clear brow gel. I don’t think I’ll use the brush for brows, but I think it would be nice for nose contouring. I don’t think I’ll use the concealer and highlighter stick either, so I’ll be passing that on.

Saint Luxe Beauty Eyeliner Trio, $55

The fifth item is an eyeliner trio including a matte black, a matte light nude shade, and a shimmery bronze. While the shimmery bronze is smoother, the two other eyeliner pencils are way too hard to use. They just tug and scratch the skin, which is really unfortunate because the light nude color is really nice. I’m not sure if Saint Luxe is a newer brand, but it seems that the brand’s website only sells this one product. I really don’t think this eyeliner trio is worth $55 when you can’t even use two of the three products.

Kat von D Beauty Lolita Eyeshadow, $19

The final item is a single eyeshadow in the shade Lolita from Kat von D. This is another item I am really happy I got. I’ve always wanted to try the Lolita products from Kat von D since the Lolita liquid lipsticks were such a big craze back in the day.

Although there were technically only six products included in this box, it feels like a much more substantial box because there were two kits with multiple products inside. I am most excited about the Farsali serum and the least excited about the eyeliner trio. I honestly think I will probably end up just tossing the two matte ones out because they are just too hard. However, all in all, I’m pretty happy with my box! I think just having the Farsali product alone made it a very good deal. I can’t wait for the next one!

Thanks for hanging out with me today!

All the best,
