BoxyCharm December 2019 Unboxing

Hello, friends! Welcome to day 21 of blogmas! As promised, I’ll be posting twice today since yesterday’s post was quite short. In this first post of the day, I’ll be sharing what I got in my December 2019 BoxyCharm.

In my box, I received five items: a moisturizer, blush, lip scrub, brow kit, and an eyeshadow palette.

Saturday Skin Waterfall Glacial Water Cream, $39

The first item I got was actually one that I picked out. As this was my second consecutive month of subscribing to BoxyCharm, I was able to choose between two skincare items. I had actually wanted to try out the Saturday Skin Waterfall cream prior to subscribing to BoxyCharm so I was really excited about receiving this in my box.

Ciate London Marbled Light Illuminating Blusher, $26

The next item, I was also super stoked about because I also wanted to try this out for a while now. It is the Ciate London Marbled Light Illuminating Blusher in the shade Halo. I can confirm now that this blush is absolutely beautiful and radiant.

Seraphine Botanicals Daikon + Dreams Lip Exfoliator with Radish Extract, $24

This next item I feel like is a filler item, but I’m not mad about it. It is a lip exfoliator from Seraphine Botanicals, a brand I have not heard about before. I tend to just use my toothbrush to exfoliate my lips, so I don’t really see the need to buy an actual lip scrub, but I’m intrigued by the daikon radish extract and look forward to trying this out.

Brow Bar by Reema Brow Makeover Kit, $30

I also feel like this brow kit is a filler item, and I’m honestly the least excited about this out of all the items in my BoxyCharm this month. The packaging isn’t all that appealing to me, and I would have preferred a brow pencil instead of powder. I think this product is nice for people who are just venturing into the world of makeup, but I don’t think it would appeal much to those who are more experienced with makeup and already have their staple brow products.

Last but not least, we have a mini Little Red Riding Hood eyeshadow palette from Storybook Cosmetics. I honestly was not excited about this palette when I saw it in a sneak peak, but in person, it looks pretty cute. The packaging is not as bulky as I thought it would be, although it wouldn’t be my first choice as a travel palette. The color are not as bad as I thought, and while I’m not head over heels with all of the colors nor would I have bought this palette if it weren’t for BoxyCharm, I’m decently happy with it. I look forward to trying out the red shade as I’ve been meaning to add a bright red eyeshadow to my collection.

For a $25 box, I’m pretty happy with this month’s BoxyCharm. The total value of the box was $154, and I’m super excited to have received the Saturday Skin Waterfall cream and the Ciate London blush. I’m so happy I signed up for BoxyCharm, and I can’t wait for next month’s box!

Thanks for reading, and I’ll see you all in today’s second post!

If you’re thinking about subscribing to BoxyCharm, I would appreciate it so much if you used my referral code (Healim-IPTKNNFM) or referral link (https://www.boxycharm.com/refer/Healim-IPTKNNFM) as it helps me accumulate charm points, which I can then use to redeem products from the BoxyCharm website. As you know, I love reviewing products for you all, so using my referral code or link helps me gain access to more products to share my thoughts with everyone. If you’re not comfortable with that for whatever reason, that’s fine! No need to use them if you’re uncomfortable with that, but thanks so much in advance if you do! Also, just as a disclaimer, I was not sent these products for free nor was I paid to write this post. I paid for my December 2019 BoxyCharm box with my own money, and all thoughts regarding it are my own. Happy holidays!
