Each jar comes with 100g of this unique hydrator. If you are familiar with Bath & Body Works’ Dancing Waters scent, this has a similar vibe. In larger amounts, it has an icy mint scent. As you may be able to tell from the photos above, this product isn’t completely smooth. Rather, it has a dimpled texture and what feels to be an aerated consistency. It feels like applying a silicone primer but turns into water as it soaks into the skin. The ingredients list doesn’t even include dimethicone or silicone, so I find it interesting that this product feels like silicone that just melts into water.
This product is feels very soothing. It does a good job of reducing redness, so it lives up to its claims that it works as an antihistamine. If you use a larger amount, you can really feel the icy, cooling factor. The only thing I would say against this product is that I wish it were a little more hydrating. It does hydrate, but I feel that it’s lighter than other hydrating products I have tried. Of course, this also boils down to personal preference and your skin needs. It does soften my skin quite nicely though, so overall, I’m happy with it. I live in a drier climate, which is why I prefer something with a bit more hydration, but this might be a good one for those living in humid areas since it’s lighter.
