Beyond Belief Pearl Essence Mask Review

Another “Korean” sheet mask.

I mentioned in my last post that I don’t think manufacturing a product in Korea necessarily makes it Korean skincare. I’ve noticed a lot of non-Korean brands do this, and I have to admit that I get a little annoyed by it. Anyways, we have another sheet mask from the brand Beyond Belief. This one features hydrolyzed pearl, lotus extract, and hyaluronic acid for radiant skin, moisture, and minimizing irregularities.

Like the other green tea sheet mask from the same brand, this has a scent. I want to say it smells somewhat like a citrus surface wipe. The sheet, like the other mask, is quite a bit stiff, so there is a lot of overlapping and lifting going on. This mask also leaves behind jelly oil. Like the green tea sheet mask, it’s not heavy but it feels super oily to the touch. I found that the green tea sheet mask was a little more hydrating than this pearl one. As for the radiant skin claims, I’m going to have to say that I didn’t notice much in that regard. There wasn’t really a difference in the before and after. Unfortunately, this mask doesn’t really offer the benefits of pearl as a skincare ingredient.

P.S. here’s the link for the Beyond Belief Green Tea Firming Mask.
