How cute is this yogurt drink inspired packaging?
Another sheet mask that my little brother got me for Christmas last year. I want to save it forever because the packaging is so cute, but alas, it must be reviewed.
The three key ingredients of this mask are yogurt extract, Lactobacillus, and strawberry extract. Yogurt extract, which is rich in vitamin B2 and protein, softens sebum stuck in pores as well as hydrates and nourishes skin. Lactobacillus, the bacteria that plays a big role in converting sugar to lactic acid, strengthens the skin barrier and aids in cell regeneration. Last but not least, strawberry extract hydrates and brightens dull and dry complexion.
This mask uses what A’PIEU calls an L-cell sheet. L-cell sheets are made from cupra, tencel, and cellulose for softness, high moisture content, and silkiness respectively. A’PIEU claims that you can barely tell it is on and that it provides complete adherence, sticking to even uneven areas without missing a spot. The brand also claims that this sheet distributes product to every nook and cranny of the face.
This sheet mask smells absolutely yummy. It smells just like sweet Korean strawberry candy. The scent isn’t really noticeable once on the face.
Now, as mentioned above, A’PIEU claims this L-cell sheet provides complete adherence to even the most uneven areas and distributes provide to every nook and cranny of the face. I was highly skeptical, but I was blown away by the truth of this statement. This mask easily laid flat against my entire face with minimal overlap, even on the area between my eyes, which is where I generally have the most trouble. I think this has to do with how thin the sheet is, which is why there is a white plastic sheet as well to make unfolding easier.
The watery essence does a great job of leaving skin feeling soft, hydrated, and nourished. It absorbs into the skin very quickly, leaving a matte-like finish that still offers a gentle glow and brightness.
I’m really happy to have tried this strawberry yogurt sheet mask from A’Pieu. This is a great booster sheet mask that is gentle enough for daily use. I definitely will stock up on a few more of these the next time I shop at A’Pieu. I want to try the mango, blueberry, apple, and plain yogurt ones, too!
