A’Pieu Green Tea Milk Soothing Sheet Mask Review

“A glass of green tea milk for the skin!”

My little brother gifted this to me for Christmas last year, so I wanted to save this sheet mask forever, but alas, the blog calls.

A’Pieu says to “reveal your calmest, most balanced skin with the nourishing power of green tea milk… Green tea extract soothes and comforts skin. Milk extract supports moisture retention by forming a protective barrier over the skin. Air pockets in the fabric hold ample essence, which enhances the absorption of active ingredients by the skin and adherence to the skin.”

The two key ingredients in this sheet mask are green tea extract and witch hazel extract. According to the Missha US website (Missha and A’Pieu are owned by the same parent company), green tea extract supports calmer-looking, refreshed complexion, while witch hazel extract helps reduce the appearance of temporary redness.

The packaging for this product is actually made of two layers that make it nearly impossible to open this using just my strength. I ended up using scissors to cut it open, so I recommend having a pair handy when using this.

As you can see, the essence is a milk white color. It has a fruity floral scent that lasts during application. The scent smells nice but it is also right on the cusp of being too overbearing for me. For those who are extremely sensitive to scents, this may be too strong for you. The good news, however, is that the scent goes away after removing the sheet and patting in the remaining essence into the face.

I consider this mask a gentle refresher that offers both light hydration as well as a bit of moisturization without leaving behind an oily layer. The essence absorbs completely into the skin, making this sheet mask good for daytime use and before makeup. It adds a natural looking glow to the face, giving it a slight glass skin effect. This sheet mask is a great choice for the summer as it is very light and not sticky.
