I’m so excited to share this product with you all! This is the peel-off mask I’ve been searching for.
Here’s another product from Papa Recipe, a skincare brand created for those with sensitive skin. This Charcoal Holic Black Peel Off Pack comes with 100 mL of product, a silicone spatula, and claims to “thoroughly remove sebum, waste matters, old chitlin and black and white heads, keeping your skin smooth and clear.”
I was amazed at how black the product is coming out of the tube. It’s not just a dark gray color; it’s actually black. It dries to a gray color, though, as you can see from the image on the left.
You can also see from the image that this mask pulls out pretty much all the peach fuzz hairs from the face. It can also remove sideburns and eyebrows so be super careful about placement. I wasn’t thinking and I realized my mistake a second too late. I’ve always wanted more of a wax strip effect from the peel-off masks I’ve tried so far (Elizavecca Hell-Pore Mask and Freeman Feeling Beautiful Cucumber Peel-Off Gel Mask), but none have done that. I can happily say that this one does. It makes for an easy way to remove pesky peach fuzz that sometimes interferes with makeup application. It does actually pull out some junk lodged inside pores, too. Not a lot but still more than any other peel-off mask I’ve tried. This is pretty much like a pore strip for all over the face, and I’m here for it.
I would say the only downside to this product is that the surface layer near the tube opening dries out after the first use, so it may cause inconvenience when trying to use the product again. I just take a bobby pin and poke out an opening. Seems to work just fine!
